Dance Arts Company Intensive Camp $300.00

Required camp for all Danse Arts Company members. A week-long intensive for DAC performers. Daily technique training in Ballet with instructors from Missouri Ballet Theatre, DAC company directors, Jazz, Modern/Contemporary, Conditioning, Pantomime, Terminology, Rehearsals for our Winter Extravaganza begins and more... Special Guest Artist TBA. Includes Camp Souvenir. Danse Arts Company is a student based, pre-professional company that produces 2 full length shows per year, performs at local venues, conducts community outreach and more. The place to create well rounded dancers and performers! With a strong focus on technique we still have fun!

Dear Wildwood Dance & Arts Families,
We wanted to send a quick note about our upcoming camp PETER PAN! Originally this camp was going to be led by Becky Viola - "Children's Theatre Workshop". She has seen been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, will be undergoing surgery and chemo over an extended period of time. First and foremost, please keep Becky in your prayers and thoughts. We've talked with Becky about mainting the camp in her leave. Wildwood Dance's instructor, Debbie Devine, will be heading up the camp this summer. It's going to follow the similar format that Becky has used over the years for those that are continued clients of hers, and add a new flare as well. Second, we will have the auditions as listed and any of the appointments that have already been made with Becky will be done by Debbie and/or Miss Leah (owner of WDA) at the studio. The final performance on Friday will be at 7:30pm held at the Chesterfield Community Theatre (West County YMCA). It's going to be a GREAT CAMP! We look forward to filling the camp. Everyone gets a roll, the audititions are to "cast" campers accordingly. Some portion of the proceeds will go to help Becky with medical bills, and we will also be running a donation drive during camp! We can't wait to get started.....second star to the right!!!
Peter Pan is great for the whole family! This week long Drama Camp is just what our young actors and actresses need for the summer! They work hard and have fun learning the play throughout the week and end it with a full performance at 7pm on Friday evening with sound, lights, costumes, & scenery. *Students audition to determine which role they have in the show; must call to guarantee a spot and to set up an audition time. Dance Jam! Led by DAC Company Members!
July 16-19, M-Th
Ages 3-5, 9am-12pm $75.00
Ages 6 & Up, 9am-3pm $125.00
DAC Dance Jam is a great way for your dancer to try all different styles of dance. It’s all about the dance… having fun while learning!! They will participate in dance combinations in all styles, dance games, video clips, souvenirs, and an in studio show at the end of camp! The Danse Arts Company (DAC) is a pre-professional dance company at Wildwood Dance. Your campers’ classes will be led by the senior members of DAC, under the supervision of the Artistic Directors (Leah Cordiano-Siemens – Owner of WDA, and Beth McGuire- Assistant Director of WDA). Tons of fun, great learning experience, and a % of the proceeds go to help the Danse Arts Company! Camp souvenir included. Dancewear recommended, but not required. The Poms/Jazz Experience!

*An Additional $25.00 is required for Poms if they do not have them already. Pay at registration so we have them waiting for them when camp starts!
All levels welcome to attend this fun & energetic dance camp! Led by Beth McGuire! For our younger dancers it’s a great way to have fun and exercise at the same time. They learn basic dance movements and get to sway those Poms! Four our Youth & Senior dancers the camp is designed for those who aim to be a member of a dance team, jazz line, or brush up on dance team technique. Students will focus on leaps & turns, poms & precision movements, and a short routine. Students will also learn valuable audition tips. Camp souvenir included. No experience necessary, Dancewear recommended but not required. (Min enrollment needed: 10 dancers registered by July 16)
*BE A PART OF WWDazzlers Poms/Jazz Team!! Ages 7yrs & Up are Welcome to Audition for our WWDazzler Team on Thursday immediately after their camp time, lasting approximately one hour. An additional $25.00 nonrefundable fee for audition will be required by that Wednesday to show intent. They will use one of the combinations they learned at camp, and some impromptu instruction. The Hip Hop Experience!

As seen in Dance Studio Life Magazine (December 2010 issue) Wildwood Dance is “Breakin It Down”! Camp is led by Tiger!! This camp is great for beginners-advanced! We have something for everyone. Wildwood Dance prides itself in keeping up with new styles of dance, but learning, teaching, and remembering their roots! It’s important to know where the movements came from and the fundamentals of the hip hop culture and music. The dancers will experience hip hop choreography, breakin’, waving, gliding, popping, locking, history, dance battles, videos, and more! We use age appropriate media in all forms! They will also get to have a lesson in Graffiti Art!! Camp souvenir included. No experience necessary, comfortable exercise wear. Clean Tennis Shoes for class please. (Min enrollment needed: 10 dancers registered by July 23)
