Jennifer Cooper has been teaching yoga since 2005. She is a certified 200hr. ERYT with a comprehensive study in the practice of Ashtanga and Vinyasa. Jennifer came to yoga after she had exhausted herself trying to find relief from a reoccurring back injury. Not only did she find relief in her back pain but soon discovered that yoga was more than a series of poses but an approach to life. After several years as a student she decided it was time to give back the gift she had been given through the discovery of yoga. She is passionate about her work and continues to educate herself on the different philosophies of yoga. She likes to share her knowledge of Pranayama, Ashtanga, Purna, Chakras, Anatomy and much more with her students.
Jennifer provides a peaceful, environment which will encourage you to be true to yourself and open to greater compassion and balance in your life. Jennifer primarily teaches vinyasa flow. Her classes are designed as a yoga, therapy system that will tone, align and purify the body, as well as calm the mind.
Every class offers a different experience. One day you will build internal heat and strength in the body through an Ashtanga style class while on another day you may practice a series of hip openers in order to reduce tension in the body and mind that block you from your fullest potential.
Jennifer and her family have lived in California, New York, Nashville and for the past six years have called St. Louis their home.
