Drama I, II, III Technique: are all drama and musical theatre technique courses. They will culminate in a recital routine for each class at the end of the year (June 8-13th). The technique courses work to develop your imagination, exploration, musical theatre, "Method Acting", how to audition, as well as theatre games.
Drama I: at this level the students learn note recognition, note values along with characters and songs that go along with them. They will work on pretending, imagination, exploration and theatre games.
Drama II: this level builds upon the earlier introductory aspects, and allows the students to begin to explore monologues, commercial acting, character study, theatrical terminology, vocal development, basic theatre dance steps, improvisation and more.
Drama III: this level focuses more on "Method Acting" techniques, greater character study, improvisational development, personal monologue work, and remembering past experiences to develop characters. For students who have had some experience and is much more intense than previous levels.
