Jazz/Poms
Our Poms/Jazz classes are similar to the technique you would see in today's school squads. Students work on flexibility, jumps, and routines that will help them at try-outs or with their existing team work. Also a fun class for the dancer not wanting the pressure of trying out but would like to participate in a team environment. These classes will focus on precession, sharpness, kicks, leaps, turns, and formations. Classes will include a warm-up, basic jazz technique (as described in the ‘jazz leveled section'), and Dance Team & Pom choreography. Each level will build upon the fundamentals from the previous ones. Group work and formations are an integral part of the classes. Silver Metallic Poms are required for class. If the student does not already own the same kind, they must be purchased upon registration into the classes. (ask the front desk)
